 Masterpiece Carving!  Museum Calibre Sculpture!

CURATOR'S CHOICE
**Rory tops the list of exceptional Paul Malliki bears.

Paul has been at the top of Canada's Master Carvers for years, so we have high expectations.

Paul has raised the bar with the ambitious carving of Rory's wide open mouth!
Rory's teeth and tongue are so real, you think Paul had somehow replaced the stone with the real thing!

Additionally, I have never seen upturned-toes/claws like you see on Rory's front paws.
Paul's technique is meticulous.

Finally, I must point out that as our Master Carvers advance in years, they are physically able to carve only a small number of sculptures per year.
Often, the carving requires assistance from a family member who rotates the stone for them.

Time is of the essence.

Did you know that Paul will use a deceased Polar bear to obtain accurate and true measurements of all its features?

He then carves his Polar bear using this "real-time" information.

This is one of the reasons why Rory's open mouth looks true to life.

Paul also carves each individual hair!

It probably took Paul over 6 months to carve this once-in-a-lifetime sculpture.

The stunning open mouth with fangs and tongue, the upturned front claws, the black paw pads, and the stunning posture of the bear; are the outstanding features of Paul's Rory.

BUT all of Paul's bears are Masterpieces that are the envy of the world of Inuit art collectors.

Could you imagine Rory waiting to greet you every day?
