A juvenile seal offers his friendship.

The ice floe gently floats on the quiet sea carrying its precious cargo.

It will be dinner soon.

The larger seal slips into the water and comes up to the surface with a fish for his small "charge".

Back into the water and this time he feeds himself.

Stomachs pleasantly full, both seal friends fall asleep together, secure in their connection.

Night is about to fall.
