Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!

This courageous hunter stands guard, weapons in hand.

With every sound, his adrenalin climbs.

He has to be acutely aware of his surroundings.

If he isn't on high alert, he could become the hunted.

Wayne Puqiqnak is the son of internationally renowned Master Carver Uriash Puqiqnak.

These two artists are highly respected for their SIGNATURE grotesque style of carving.

Stands Guard has his head flexed back to the extreme.

Which allows him to see.

After all, like many Grotesque carvings, his large inlaid eyes are located at the top of his forehead!

Stands Guard intrigues.

Stands Guard challenges.

This sculpture has a personality that is hard to ignore.

He stands on guard for you.

See our notes on The Gjoa Haven Collection.
