Those of us who collect Inuit carvings understand that every piece is a gift.

There are so many stunning colours, patterns of colours, textures of stone, sizes of sculptures, styles of carvings, etc.

Jake"s look is a little bit primitive, and a little bit abstract.

The features that you expect to be meticulously detailed if you are looking at a realistic style (claws, facial features) are definitely present BUT they are etched and therefore more suggested and less detailed.

Bears like Jake are charming and always intriguing.

I am so appreciative of the Inuit carvers who work so hard to present us with these stone treasures. of stone.
