To carve an eagle flying on its side while holding a fish, takes years of experience and unusual talent
Pits had it all!
Masterpiece Carving! Museum quality Sculpture!
Pits seldom carved an Eagle of this size.
Pits passed away in October 2024.
This is almost certainly the last of Pits' Eagles of this size.
It is very rare now to find any of Pits's eagles for sale.
We are witnessing the struggle between an Eagle and his catch..
Eagle Eyes is fighting to hold onto this wiggling fish who has been plucked from his water home.
The fish remains composed.
He is determined to stay alive.
The scene is simple but potent.
The eagle is powerful and intense as he concentrates on holding onto his wiggling prey.
The lines and proportions of this carving are immaculate.
The polish and colour of the electric apple green stone steals your breath.
